Claire also discusses being able to manage your own emotions and how powerful it is to share and reflect on your experiences.

She also shares three tips during the episode:

  1. Ask yourself exactly what your child is struggling with and in what environments to help you to understand how you can make them feel safe and regulated.
  2. Find their ‘toolbox’ of strategies to support them, such as sensory toys or activities.
  3. Talk to them about their diagnosis so that they understand what’s happening when they feel anxious.
